Overview
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data and Market Analyst to join our team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, market research, and client-facing deliverables to uncover key insights and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data and/or market analysis and possess a passion for understanding mobility trends and consumer behavior. This role will be based in a Denver CO office. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to support business insights and strategic planning.
  • Analyze urban and interurban mobility patterns and assess market dynamics.
  • Perform customer segmentation and market sizing through TAM/SAM/SOM estimation.
  • Execute clustering analysis, histograms, and visualizations to identify behavioral trends and geographic patterns.
  • Identify product affinity using behavioral data to inform client and internal strategies.
  • Collect and synthesize public datasets and mobility-related reports to inform market research initiatives.
  • Develop detail-oriented presentations and reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Create aesthetically polished and logically structured deliverables tailored for executive audiences.
  • Engage with clients in a consultative manner to validate findings and ensure alignment with business objectives.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in data and/or market analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing or related fields
  • Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and market size estimation techniques.
  • Ability to build compelling data visualizations and statistical reports.
  • Skilled in handling large, complex datasets and interpreting key patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing milestone-driven projects.
  • Exposure to transportation industry is highly desired, specifically working with mobility ecosystems such as tolling, parking, EV charging, shared mobility, or public transportation.
  • Experience working in transportation, mobility, or related sectors.
  • Strong communication abilities and the ability to be succinct in delivering solutions.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • Client-facing experience with a high level of professionalism in cross functional department collaboration.
  • Capable of delivering insights that influence high-level decision-making

 

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 1099 consulting engagement, with an hourly range of $35-$55/hr. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
